ThrowBack Thursday - July Edition

Hey everyone! Florence here. Being in the middle of a move makes you realize how much stuff you have, and how much stuff you didn't know you had. I came across this photo of my family that came to visit us a couple years ago. 

My Auntie Teri had found one of them on Facebook in 2011/2012 and they decided to finally book a trip out California. Alaska isn't just a drive away so it was a bit difficult for the Californians to travel since there's way more of us. But we had a blast getting to know family that were never present in our lives until that point. 

My Grandma (pictured in the middle) was the care taker for 6/8 shown in the photo. Reunited and it feels so good was an understatement. I can't wait to make an album for her of this trip. The value of memory keeping, regardless if it's from yesterday, or 10 years ago - memories will always be preserved. 

Dust off your photos or any old projects you've been meaning to finish. One page completed is better than no page completed. Until next time!

ThrowBack Thursday - May Edition

It's that time of the month for Throwback Thursday! Tis' the season to play catch up. Do you have a December Daily album that's unfinished? So do I! I decided to take a day to complete one day- well at least work on a few pages. These photo challenges sound like a great concept to do daily- until you actually have to do it. Thank goodness for smart phones. My photos have a time stamp which keeps them in order, yes I still have photos from December. Yikes! But the thing with working on old projects- you get to bring back sweet memories. I hope these pages gave you a little inspiration to work on any winter projects you may have in your to do pile.

ThrowBack Thursday - April Edition

Throw Back Thursday is here!  

So for this monthly series I wanted to invite you to get a project that's been laying around collecting dust, old photos you'd like to "someday" scrap, unfinished projects- anything you'd like to work on that you want to document. This day is perfect to do so. 

The project that I am working on is my birthday album. I dug into my older freckled fawn kits and put to use items that I haven't touched for a few months. Older stamps that I am guilty of not using yet- and some of my favorite washi from past months. 

The beauty of paper crafting is that you can piece together many different things to make photos come to life. I wanted to use this album that I made from an Amy Tangerine class for this purpose. I have had many birthdays that I haven't documented and since I went to Southern California the weekend prior to it I thought I would share a few pages that I made specially for today.

I hope you find inspiration to take out an unfinished project or two. Let's use up our kits and stash!
