Planning With OHDEERME - October "Woodland" Edition - ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

Planning With OHDEERME - October Edition (1 Year!!!)

Hello, Planner Friends!!!
This month's Planning With OHDEERME is so exciting!!!  One year ago, I started creating these monthly blog posts!  I love to share with you all how I use the kit each month inside my planner :) If you are HERE for all of my PWODM Blog Posts!  Kind of fun to look back at the months...!

Today I am going to use the Woodland Kit inside my planner from Sugar-Paper...

First things first...lay out all of the embellishments above my planner!!!  I love to see everything right in front of me :) I usually grab the washi tape first!  I added a few long pieces here and there, throughout the week...

My favorite item in this month's kit is by far the transparency circles!!!!!!  I used a couple of the felt leaf stickers to "adhere" the "Today" transparency circle...basically to "hold it in place"!  No adhesive needed :)

I used my mini stapler and attached another transparency circle...added a few enamel dots too!

The "Lovely" transparency circle was trimmed down using my paper hold it in place, I added a felt leaf sticker!

Look at that epoxy paper clip...SO cute!  You get 4 of these inside the kit!!!

Here is a shot of the whole week!  I am loving all of the space to write!!!

Don't forget...if you use your FF embellishments on your planner pages, make sure to use hashtag #planningwithohdeerme :) You can also share your pics in the FFF Facebook Group too...I would love to see your creations!!!

Thanks for stopping by...Happy Planning

Planning With OHDEERME - September Edition

Hello FF Fans :) Today I am sharing how I set up my month on two pages (MO2P) for September using the latest kit...Oxford!  This month I am using my planner from Purposeful Planner...
It literally took me just a few minutes to pull together this fun spread for the month!
On the 1st I used the chipboard sticker "Adore This" to make note of FF Reveal Day!  My boyfriends birthday is the 8th so I highlighted that day with some color block vellum alpha stickers...
"Check it Out" will mark the beginning of FF sneaks!!!!  Do you spy an "old" FF embellishment???
I used several of the arrow chipboard stickers to highlight a few days throughout the month.  You can write on top of the arrows or to the side!
Loving that doodle skinny washi tape...I added a few pieces here and there :)
Now it's time to fill in the days with my important events for the month!

Thanks for stopping by :)

Desktop Monday By SANDRA

On my desk is the super cool gold foil washi set from the freckled fawn shop, some cardstock and a tag punch and some other shape punches.

I adhered the washi to the cardstock and punched out some tags and other shapes.

This is a super easy and super fast way to make your own unique tags and embellishments.

Have fun creating :). Xoxo, Sandra

Tutorial Friday By CANDI

Happy Friday, FF Fans!!!  Today I am sharing a quick and easy way to create a stencil using heavy cardstock, a few punches, stipple brushes (or cosmetic wedges) and ink pads.
Punch out your image on the heavy cardstock...
I grabbed a piece of paper to put behind my project so my table didn't get all inky!  On top of the paper, I have a white tag and then on top of my tag, I placed the heart stencil that I created.
Time for some fun...!  Take your stipple brush or cosmetic wedge and load it up with plenty of ink by "dabbing" the tool (stipple brush or cosmetic wedge) on the ink pad several times.  Hold your stencil in place with one hand and with the other hand you will take your tool and apply color to the opening of your this case, the heart that I created.  You may need to ink up your tool several times to get the color that you are wanting!

To finish off the tag I added some sketch alpha stickers and a cork arrow...
You can add ribbon to this tag and put it on a gift can add it to your planner like I did :)
Besides making tags, you could create some awesome backgrounds on cards and scrapbook layouts using this technique!

Have fun creating this weekend...
