Opps! Forgot one! :)

Hiya! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! I forgot a layout in the gallery yesterday! My own! Go figure! Today is digital scrapbooking day! So in honor of that I created a hybrid page using Freckled Fawn along side some digital supplies from my favorite store, The Lilypad! I am really blaming all this on our guest, Amy Martin!

Using that AMAZING wide washi from Freckled Fawn that I have fallen head over heels for! Alongside the famous yellow airmail tape also from Freckled Fawn. Let me just preface this whole post by saying

i. am. so. flippin. excited.

Freckled Fawn's first line of washi tape has officially arrived.

They are beautiful and addicting and ever-so much fun.

These lovely tapes would not exist without Lili Niclass.

She is the sweetest person ever and an insanely talented designer.

She's the designer of the Clementine edition of Project Life AND PL's two baby lines.

hello, amazing??!! yes, she's amazing.

Her style is so clean and fresh and as beautiful as she is.

I am 500% grateful for her patience and her vision.

I am also grateful for her supporting small businesses like Freckled Fawn.

The other person who played a part in all this was Shanna Nalywaiko.

We traded countess emails and had long nighttime chats as we prepared (and continue to prepare)

these tapes and other products to come.

She's got such a grasp on the industry.

She knows what people like and she's got killer style.
She's patient and focused and simply perfect!!

I'm basically in love with her ;)

Shanna's ohDEERme August

Here's what the lovely Shanna created with

August's ohDEERme kit

She made the sweetest lunch box notes

using the fold-up airmail envelopes, washi, and flair from the kit.

She put a strip of the arrow tail washi outside each one.

the felt air balloon, airmail stamp washi, and balloon flair is from the kit

she paired them with some french airmail washi, blue/red geometric washi, and arrowtail washi.

happened quite by accident really.

just an exchange of emails that exploded into a

"What if we did this... and this... and thisssss!!!!"

Shanna and I are quite excited

(understatement of the century)

we have spammed each other's emails with ideas, images, plans, and products.

it has been quite an adventure.

Shanna has been a wonderful addition to Freckled Fawn

she is proud to be a part of our little fold

and we have a great many more things planned for the future.

I just adore her.

She takes all my ideas and organizes them into wonderful, wonderful things.

She tells me when something is weird

She tells me when something is awesome

and she keeps me on track

(which if you know me... is a GOOD thing... i tend to get distracted with too many ideas).

Shanna sent over another layout

using some ohDEERme goodies

she flipped the rainbow journal cards over

so they would be white but you could still see the heart

and attached some cork tags here and there

i definitely want to scraplift this layout

because i love the grid sketch so much.
