Tutorial Friday By ADRIENNE

Happy Friday FF fans!  It's Adrienne here today sharing a fun way to use those adorable cork shapes from Freckled Fawn to create this card.

All you need are some of your favorite cork shapes, acrylic paint of your choice, wine corks or a mounting block for stamps, super glue, and some card stock.

Gather your supplies and use the super glue to glue the cork shape to top of the wine cork. You could also mount the cork shape to a stamping block using glue dots if you don't have any wine corks lying around.

Let the glue dry for a bit and squeeze out a quarter-sized amount of your favorite acrylic paint colors on a piece of scrap card stock or all purpose mat, just as long as the paint is on a flat surface.

Dip the cork stamper into the paint and practice a few times to get the "feel" of how it will stamp on your page.  Stamping with the cork shapes is a little different than using rubber or acrylic stamps so a little practice helps :)  After I got comfortable stamping with the cork, I created my card using a repeating pattern of shapes and colors.

After the paint dried I added a few clear acrylic stars and some heart-shaped wood veneer pieces to complete my card.

Using corks shapes as stamps is a great way to add a fun twist to your projects so don't be afraid to get a little messy and try something new.  I hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!"
