Happy Tutorial Friday :)

Valentine's Day is coming up quickly and today I am sharing how you can decorate some heart shaped paper mache boxes.  When you are finished with this project these cute hearts will look like giant conversation hearts!!!

You will need the following items:  

-Heart Shaped Paper Mache Boxes (local craft store)

-Foam Brushes 

-Acrylic Paint (pastel colors)

-Freckled Fawn Wood Chips | Alpha Set

-Liquid Adhesive

-ColorBox Chalk Cat's Eye Ink Pad

-Candy 

 

Paint each heart (lid and base)...set aside and let dry...

 

Lay the alphas out on some scrap paper and use the Cat's Eye Ink Pad to "color" the letters by pushing up and down until you get the desired color.

 

Use the liquid adhesive and adhere your words to the top of each lid.

 

You are all set...just fill each heart with some candy...

Super easy and cute...your loved ones will enjoy receiving one of these candy filled hearts!!!
