Tutorial Friday By ADRIENNE

 Quick & Easy Mini Album

Hello everyone!  I have a quick and easy mini album I made using some recent OHDEERME kits to share with you today...

I had a few photos of my daughter from her fifth birthday that I wanted to keep in a special place so I decided to make an accordion style mini album.  I simply cut a piece of 12x12 white card stock into a 4x12 inch wide strip and scored it every three inches so it looked like this...

To make the cover, I stamped the cloud image from the March kit onto my paper and then layered the acrylic overlay card on top of it.  Then I adhered the wood veneer "5" on top of the overlay using some Glue Dots.

Here's a look at the inside of my mini album...

I sized all of my photos at 2.5 x 3.5 and left a small, white border around them so they fit nicely into the album without hanging over the edges or preventing it from folding up.

I continued the stamped cloud design on the inside page in between the two photos of my daughter, added a vellum sticker, some washi, and a few other embellishments from recent OHDEERME kits.

I kept the opposite side simple like the front and only added a few stickers and embellishments so it wasn't too bulky to fold back together.

I placed some black letter stickers on top of the heart overlay to add my daughter's name to the back of the mini and machine-stitched around the edges to coordinate with the front of my album.

And there you have it!  A super simple and quick mini that you could put together in no time using lots of items from some of the recent OHDEERME kits.

Thanks for stopping by...I hope you have a fabulous Friday!
