Tutorial Friday By ADRIENNE - Crayon Resist Technique

Hello everyone!  I'm here today to share a quick and easy tutorial for using the ever-so-popular spray mists and a white crayon to make some fun accents for your favorite paper crafting projects.  All you need is some white card stock, your favorite spray mist colors, and a white crayon.
I took a white crayon and traced the outline of some punched hearts onto the white card stock.  You could also freehand your own designs or sentiments...I just didn't feel comfortable enough with my drawing skills to rely on them for this particular project :)
After you've drawn your designs onto the white card stock, use your mist of choice and spray over the design you've created and let dry.  You should get something that looks similar to this...
After my designs were completely dry, I fussy cut them using my small craft scissors and placed them on my layout like in the photo below...
I finished my layout and embellished it using my sewing machine, some FF washi tape, and lots of embellishments from recent OHDEERME kits.
I love the softness this crayon resist technique gives my page and the possibilities for different shapes and designs are endless!
I hope I've inspired you to use your mists in a new way and make some fun accents for your next project!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

xo - Adrienne
