Washi Wednesday : Washi Challenge

hello! and welcome to another Washi Wednesday.

i have a little Washi Challenge for you :)

and i do hope you play along!

what is easier than grabbing some of your washi tape

(don't have some, get some here!)

and decorating a wooden letter?

its the funnest thing ever!

i put it on the ledge in Little Man's room

it really helped brighten everything up.

the little wooden car was purchased at a local boutique

and the plaque of the little boy playing the violin is vintage- i love it so.

i have to admit i have a hard time decorating

i like things to mean something

so i either make everything

or i wait until something just catches my eye

so a lot of our walls are still bare

but hey, we've only lived here 6 months!

tapes i used

blue/green airmail

black/white checkered diamond

white on black polka

basic green stripe

mustard stripe

grey airmail

green grid

basic grey stripe

aqua airmail

black/white chevron

blue/green chevron

Doelightful DIY : washi tape magnents

in honor of Washi Wednesday here at I Am Doe

i wanted to share a delightful DIY.

Little Lady wanted to make some snazzy magnets

to hang up her chore chart on the fridge.

i thought to myself

what's easier for us to make than washi tape magnets?

ingredients : three supplies

1. washi tape (get some here!)

2. wood circles (i had some lying around)

3. magnets

that's it. easy peasy.

we made a bunch and they now live happily on our fridge.

hello my lovelies!

i'm starting a new series on the blog

called Washi Wednesday.

create something with washi tape as your main medium.

i made this layout

to document how snuggly my Little Man has gotten recently

is there anything better than a toddler hug?

i think no :)

creating a layout with washi tape

is soooo easy and soooo fast.

and inexpensive.

tapes i used:

black/white chevron

aqua airmail

vintage ledger

red polkadot

i also used the new vintage-style gummed labels in red

so fun.
